Primary Pastor REV. ANDY ANDERSON
Rev. Andy McLaren
Anderson has been appointed to the City of Syracuse United Methodist Churches, and
more specifically, Bellevue Heights UMC and Gethsemane UMC, beginning July 1,
2015. He comes to us from Spencerport
and Adams Basin United Methodist Churches in the Genesee Valley District and
has served several other churches since becoming a Licensed Local Pastor in
2009.
Prior to becoming a pastor, Rev.
Anderson had a diversified work history from architectural drafting in Tobago
to being assistant to the pastor of a United Methodist Church in New Jersey to
working with the Oneonta Job Corps Academy and, then, substitute teaching in
Davenport, New York.
Rev. Anderson is married to the
new District Superintendent of the Crossroads District, Rev. Nola Anderson, and
they are the parents of a 9-year old son, Asriel.
